[31 Aug 2005|09:31pm] [ mood | helpless ] I've been watching more on Hurricane Katrina. 80% of New Orleans is underwater -_-;; And I saw a stranded sea lion... I want to cry... Am I the only person who cares? People at Janime ignore the "Hurricane Katrina" thread to go back to their pointless, immature game threads, and most of my friends on GJ have yet to write about it. People are dead or missing. Houses are completely destroyed - the ones remaining have people on the roofs, with the water almost as high. The bridges are shredded. The animals are confused and helpless. Disease is bound to happen as mosquitos breed. Sewege and toxins have contaminated with the water, leaving it undrinkable. This isn't as bad as December's tsunami, but still unspeakable. And to think that I bitch about my problems... -_-;; These people... they're thankful just to be alive. Their concern is finding their spouses and children... I want to go down there and HELP, but I can't! I can't even donate money! There's nothing I can fucking do! post comment

[31 Aug 2005|09:30pm] I was an ass in the preschool lab today XD The teacher asked us why we wanna work with the kids. Everyone said stuff like, "Because I wanna be an early childhood teacher" or "because I love kids." I said, "I wanna be a mother. I'd rather screw up on someone else's kid." Go me. :::claps for self::: And fuck, Drew, it was so hard not to laugh during the slideshow in Global Insights! All those funny people. And I remember the Daddy Ishtar dude now.
